Sunday Morning Art Journaling
It's been a busy, whirlwind kind of week. There was a lot accomplished and a lot to be grateful for.
I got to spend some time reflecting on that this morning while spending quiet time in the studio art journaling. Since taking the "Sunday Mornings 2" workshop with Mindy Lacefield, it's become a meaningful and important practice in my life.
So this morning I reflected on gratitude and I came up with this:
I am grateful for my husband and his love of plants. There's nothing better than seeing him in his gardening pants.
I am grateful for the tipi that was built with his hands and tucked away in the trees...his own little sanctuary when he needs to reconnect with the land.
I am grateful for healthy children and late night cuddles.
I am grateful for the dog hair on my pants because it reminds me I've been loved by a fur baby...one of the best types of Love.
I am grateful for my little art studio on wheels, complete with twinkling lights.
And art. I am grateful for art because it quiets me down so I can take all this goodness in.
What are some good things in your life today?
